Nice. One doesn't often see this perceived angle with nebulae.

the nebula is pretty sweet. the background stars are rather dull unfortunately, and the gas giant doesn't have any glow which makes the shadow look a little off. keep it up though! :)

thanks. the image is actually viewed less than half size here, so the full size is way more vibrant. as for the glow, ill have to add one. :) i thought about it too, but wasnt sure if it needed one. now i know it did. ;P

try messing with the resize settings (bicubic sharper, nearest neighbor, etc). or consider having 2 layers of stars, one for 'really big size' and the other for 'resized size'. that way no matter what, the stars are sharp :)

nice, the details are definitely sharper :) and no problem, you're talented with apo so with a little work you can be a great space artist :)

thank you. i havent been feeling very good at anything lately, and my space art is the one i feel i suck at the most right now. i only did this one cuz im so tired of doing nothing. its ok, but i dont feel that it is as good as it could be.
...and i likes me rainbow spirals. ;P

thank you for your kind words. i know im not terrible at it, but i still believe that drastic improvement is needed. if its not my planet texture that bugs me, its the colors, or the shading/highlighting, or my nebula(s). the only part of my works that i really like is my starscapes, although i do believe that using apophysis for my fractals has helped me to not hate my nebulas now. i dunno why, just goin through a funk i guess.
